You Good morning. So yesterday was the first day of a new month, October. and many of us walked into it expecting great things but when the pressure came in instead with frustration and quite frankly worry oops there we go over businesses households you know projects that matter to us in our life it was easy to lean on our own strength instead of that of the lord if that was you you're not alone and it's not the end of the story either. Amen.

This is the day the Lord has made. Amen. Joy cometh in the morning. But anyway, 1 Peter chapter 5 verse 7 says, casting all your care.

upon him for he careth for you it doesn't say to manage your care or sort it out first it says cast it Wow. Grab that. Cast it. Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 and 7 says, Be careful for nothing.

be careful for nothing this thing sure wants to keep sliding doesn't it be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving Let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts. and your minds through Christ Jesus. Family, grab that. Peace guards the heart and the mind.

The two places where… worry attacks the hardest and then we look at psalm 55 verse 25 it says cast thy burden upon the Lord and he shall sustain thee Lord I cast my burden upon you it goes on to say he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved family he sustains us he sustains you you are never ever meant to hold it all together alone we also need to remember that we're not the only ones amen we're going through our own things but i look here in families in texas and honestly across the country right now that are facing flooding tornadoes storms and people Whenever we are going through something, different places, different challenges, the same need for the Lord. Psalm 46 verse 1 says that God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. look at that with me very present he's not far off when the water is rising or the wind is howling Isaiah 43 verse 2 it says when thou passeth through the waters I will be with thee and through the rivers.

they shall not overflow thee in other words you're not going to drown in them he's there with you he doesn't promise we'll never pass through the waters He promises to be with us in them. Sometimes he allows us to go through things, to take. us deeper and to prepare us for what he is doing you know in the book of Romans chapter 8 Romans 8 Verse 28, it says, And we know that all things work together for the good of those who believe. no actually that's not what it says hello different scripture doing this from memory it uh all things work together for the good to them that love god to them who are the called according to his purpose and then there's james why does this thing I keep falling down.

And then there's James 1. James 1 verse 3 and 4 that says knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience. but let patience have her perfect work that you may be perfect and entire I don't say nothing. If you stumble under the pressure, hear this.

1 John chapter 1. Verse 9 says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. righteousness. Confess it, family.

Repent and get back up. Don't carry yesterday's failure into today. so we we don't back down and we don't lay down and quit we do our part we pray and we rest in the Lord, knowing there's a point where the outcome is out of our hands and into His. thank god hallelujah let's pray father thank you thank you for your mercy That is new every morning.

I cast every care on you right now. My business, my household, and every project I'm believing you for, Lord. Forgive me for the times I've leaned on my own understanding and my own strength. Fill my heart with your peace that passes.

All understanding. We lift up everyone, Lord God, facing floods, storms, us today. Reach. and their very present help.

Protect them. Provide for them. And draw them close to you. and for us use every challenge to prepare us for what you are doing Lord, we glorify you, we honor you, and we praise you this day in Jesus' name.
