For more information, visit www .fema .org You Thank you. For more information visit www.fema.org welcome back guys it is good to be with you here richard jeremiah again and this is part two we're catching up where we left off yesterday and we're going to jump right now back into it Yesterday we left off where we were going to come back and talk about blessings and not retaliation. Amen. Many times dealing with our dreams that are undesirable, talked about things that may have looked like God but weren't God last night.

If you didn't see part… one, I encourage you to go back and watch that. Without further ado, let's jump right in. So blessings and not retaliation.

The point behind it is this. Anytime we react in anger, even quietly it gives away the same ground that you've been trying to defend in other words if you come back at the enemy or that person in the same like spirit amen it's only going to fuel the fire So what am I saying? Here's what I'm saying. We need to bless those who curse us, and it's not easy to do, and really it doesn't always make sense, but when we bless those who curse us, amen, we're not repaying evil.

for evil. That's the key. It's an instruction from the Lord, you guys, and not a suggestion. You see, the blessing itself removes your own agreement.

from the conflict, and it keeps you standing in the authority that the Lord has given you. Amen? Very important. Now you may say, Richard, where is this in the Bible?

And I'm glad you asked. It's very important. Luke chapter 6 verse 26. Bless those who curse you.

Yeah, it's not easy. Amen. Bless those who curse you. god wants us to do that and why because god paid the price the lord jesus paid the price all right so we're gonna Bless those who cursed us, and we're going to pray for those who spitefully use us.

Look at how different that is. Now go chase them down. Not go beat them up. Not be angry and hold a grudge or resentment.

But we're going to bless those who curse us. And we're going to pray for those who spitefully use us. Now, we can also look at the book of Romans, chapter 12, and look at verses 19 through 21. This really speaks, family.

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves. but rather give place to wrath. Yeah, it's hard to swallow. Vengeance is mine.

That M is capital. That's the Lord's. I will repay. says the Lord.

Therefore, if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he's thirsty, give him a drink. For in doing… so watch this for and so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head do not be overcome by evil let's stop for a second do not be overcome by evil grab that but overcome evil with good hallelujah so with that said We need to really look at how we exercise our authority when we're in that place of opposition.

And it's really not easy. Amen, exercise and authority when you're in a place of opposition, yet we're told to basically take it and smile for lack of better words. Okay, let's dig into that. What's the point?

What am I saying? I'm saying this, authority is proven in the encounter. never by the encounter's absence does that make sense family the 70s authority and their encounter with the demons are the same exact event it's it's not sequential it's not different sequential ones you see paul's affliction was his normal operation, right? It was his normal operating condition.

Let me repeat that. Paul's affliction was his normal operation. Operating condition. It was not evidence of his authority, and it was not evidence that his authority had felled.

What are we, what are we prescribed to do? We are informed to take and put on the armor of God. Right? The armor of God.

And the armor of God assumes an ongoing evil day. Now, I'm not saying that we, every day, all day long, are, you know, to be… in warfare and always have warfare 24 hours a day seven days a week that's not it at all but for us to be told to basically keep on our authority Hello, our armor, that tells us, be prepared for the battle, be prepared for the evil one. So I would prescribe to you this, authority.

is measured by standing in the battle amen having that full armor on let me read to you real quick luke chapter 10 verses 17 through Then the 70 returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name, the name of Jesus. Amen. And he said to them, Watch this. I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

Behold, I give you, the disciples, each of us, I give you the… authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all not some not a little over all the power of the inner And nothing, nothing shall by any means hurt you. That's the Lord. That's the promise.

that deep in your heart, amen? Hold that deep in your heart. Don't be rattled. You will face situations.

Isaiah 54, 17. no weapon formed against you so it will be formed no weapon formed against you will prosper so the weapon will be formed but it will not prosper that's the promise from the lord but are we holding to that truth do we have that in our heart do we have that in our mind are we holding to that truth you see that's key that we hold that deep in our heart In the midst of the storm, in the midst of the situation, in the bright days, in the sunny days, in the dark days, in the mountains and in the valleys, we need to hold these truths deep. Amen. Then there's 2 Corinthians 4, verses 8 and 9.

We are hard -pressed on every side, yet not crushed. Praise God. We are perplexed. but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed family you are the apple of God's eye and you are in the palm of his hand sometimes you may see things happening around you, but you have the assurance of Psalm 91.

They may come to your right and to your left, but they will not touch you. You will just observe these things happening. You have the assurance of Psalm 91, 11. He will send his angels to take charge over you.

You have the assurance of Psalm 91.1. You are hidden in the secret place of the Most High God. Where? Under the…

shadow of his almighty, under his wings, under him. Keep these things close to your heart. Amen. We will not be struck down.

It may be struck down, but it will not be destroyed. It's like you may get knocked down for a second, get the air knocked out of yourself, but you're not going to be destroyed. You're getting back up, you're going to dust yourself off, and go forth. And God is going to…

to bless you. Thank you, Father. Alright, guys. So let's continue forward now.

Uh, Ephesians is another good one. Ephesians chapter 6 verses 10 through 13. Finally, my brethren, watch this, be strong in the Lord. and in the power of his might put on what the whole armor of god why did you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil for we do not wrestle against what flesh and blood no but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness.

in heavenly places therefore what take up the whole armor of god all of it that you may be able to withstand in the evil day how would the full armor have gone on that's how you withstand having done all To stand. Again, I would spend some time in that, guys. Ephesians 6, verses 10 through 13. Very, very powerful.

Very powerful. Now, let me… me ask you something we just basically went through that and figured out that we will go through tribulation we're going to go through tribulations now again is it every hour of every no it's not it's really not i know some of us can be battle wary there can be seasons where it seems like it's gone on and on i put my hand up i get it i get it but remember something will never leave you nor forsake you he is your ever present help in time of need but we go through these things many times as we grow as we go deeper and higher in him and it can be hard to understand sometimes you want to look at and think you know why is god you know like this why does he do this to me is he is he just angry and that's the wrong heart He's refining us. He's taking the things out of us that don't need to be in us.

Those comforts sometimes. Those wrong thoughts. Those wrong processes in our hearts. Allow Him to do the work.

Trust Him. Trust Him. Alright, so peace coexists with tribulation. Let's talk about this.

Peace was never the absence of conflict. It's important to understand that. Peace was never the absence of conflict. That's kind of like joy.

The difference in… joy and happiness. Once I was in the hospital, I was paralyzed, my organs were shutting down and coming out of my abdomen. I was literally dying.

I'm going to tell you, I had the greatest joy in those times. People would come into my room and I was there dying and I was ministering the gospel to them. I wasn't even trying to. It was just…

coming out of me by the Spirit of God. It's a place of joy. You can be in what some may consider the worst places a person can be. And you're in total peace.

You're at a place of joy in the Spirit. I mean, these are fruits of the Holy Spirit. So let's go back to this. Peace was never the absence of conflict.

It's what… Holds, how do I say this? Peace is what holds while conflict is happening. You rest.

in that peace you rest in that place you rest in the lord amen that that peace is a fruit of the spirit of god amen that means He's there. The Spirit of God is there. Hallelujah. You know, John 16, verse 33, it holds both realities, honestly.

It holds both realities in the same sentence. It's not one of those either or ors. Are you following me? It's not.

not either or. You see, you say, Richard, what are you saying? I'm saying this. Peace is present tense.

Guarding your heart. in the middle of what would otherwise make you anxious why are so many anxious today there's a lack of relationship with the Lord, and there's a lack of fruit of the Spirit. There's lack of relationship. We've got to come to know Him better.

Amen? Again, I'm not saying all day, every day. day all of your life that you are going to just go through constant warfare that's not it amen but you're going to have days seasons etc trust him you see peace peace is one of those things where you're anchored to where the mind rests not what's happening around you but where the mind is resting amen i'm just reminded right now of paul and revelation i'm sorry john in revelation john the revelator forgive me you know he was on the isle of patmos and he was out there and when you study this down he's out there alone Naturally, physically uncomfortable. Yet, where was he?

He was in heavenly places. Right? He was off in a different place, even though he was physically uncomfortable. physically there.

He was off in a place with the Lord. Amen. And that just reminds me of this, just being anchored to where the mind rests. That's peace.

We've got to have peace. That's where our minds got to rest, rather. Not to what is currently happening around you. Trust in the Lord God with all your heart.

Lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will. We'll make straight your paths. Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 and 6 there.

You can trust him. But you've got to trust him. Amen? That's the key.

John chapter… 16 verse 33 these things i have spoken to you that in me you may have peace when you look at that scripture me is capital that's showing the lord amen and me and the lord you may have peace in the world you will have tribulation there it's written but be of good cheer i have overcome the world glory to God. John 14, 27. Peace I leave with you.

My peace I give to you. My peace, what? I give. to you.

Look at that. Hallelujah. My peace I give to you. Just take a minute and let that sink in.

he gives us his peace, but we've got to receive it and walk in it. A peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. It's not the way the world sees it.

His peace and his ways are not the ways of the world. Then he goes on and he says, Let not your heart be troubled. neither let it be afraid. Thank you, Lord.

Now, family, we can jump over to… Philippians chapter 4, verses 6 and 7 there. Be anxious for nothing. That's what he's saying.

Don't be anxious for anything. Remember Proverbs 3, 5 and 6? we're to trust the lord with all our heart lean not on our own understanding amen so be anxious for nothing but in everything how by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving. Let your requests be made known to God.

You've got to communicate with the Lord. You've got to pour your heart to the Lord. Amen. pour out your heart to the lord and it says and the peace of god which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and defines how that's it through christ jesus it's this powerful truth we've got to get this truth deep in our heart got to get it deep in our heart glory to God thank you Father alright family you know something I'm just reminded of Isaiah Isaiah 21 66 verse 3 you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you on the lord because he trusts in you see that's it that's a key there we've got to trust the lord when we trust the lord we'll hold our peace This reminds me of a time in Honduras, Central America.

I was with my son there and my taxista. We're in the mountains swimming. And down the mountainside came some gangsters. could tell they were trying to be intimidating.

And I hear the Holy Spirit speak to me. And that's a key important thing is that you're listening for God in whatever situation. And he says, Your peace. I'll fight for you.

Hold your peace. I'll fight for you. They came down. Came behind us.

Went on this little plateau up here where you could jump into the. water and we're really looking very intimidating you know one of them jumps in and it's coming straight at me the water is crystal clear you can see the bottom of the floor in that rock formation we're swimming in i want you to know something he got about 10 foot away from me and he couldn't come any closer. He literally could not come any closer. He had to go around, yet physically there was nothing between me and him physically except water.

He went around, went back up there, they looked intimidating for a little longer and all of a sudden their eyes looked shocked. I went back to town that night, there in La Ceiba, Honduras, and I… prayed in the hotel room, and I said, Lord, what happened today? Now, I knew God had intervened.

It didn't take a rocket scientist or a prophet to figure that out. But I said, Lord, what happened today? And he told me, he said, I opened their eyes to see who was with you. Family, that's the angels.

There's angels. that God has with you. Amen? Hallelujah.

Alright, Romans chapter 14, verse 17, For the kingdom of God is not Not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Amen. That's what the kingdom of God is. god is it's not about partying and having the finest things but it's about righteousness peace and joy in the holy spirit now is god against you having money or you know going out having a nice Absolutely not.

But where is our focus? Where are our priorities? Where is our focus on the kingdom? Amen.

And it's right there. Righteousness, peace. and joy in the holy spirit glory to god all right let's look at galatians chapter 5 verse 22 and 23 now this is the fruit okay let's talk about the fruit real quick the fruit of the Spirit is. Here we go, you ready?

Love, joy, peace, long -suffering, kindness, goodness, faith. Faithfulness, gentleness, self -control. Against such, there is no law. Guys, spend some time getting very familiar and acquainted with the ways of the Spirit.

If you don't know the Beatitudes, spend some time there. But like here in Galatians 5, 22 and 23. The fruit of the Spirit is BAM, love, joy, peace, long -suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self -control. Amen?

That's the fruit of the Spirit. When the Spirit's operating in you and through you, these things will be present. Amen? Thank you, Father.

You know… Some people I've heard many times, does becoming a Christian, a believer, does becoming a believer mean that you lose your peace and the answer is no peace again is a fruit of the spirit Amen You know, rest. Rest is a gift. Rest is a gift to receive.

Let's talk about rest. Because truly it is a gift. to receive rest is not only a a battle to win but it's something to receive God's first response to Elijah's crisis was food and sleep before any other assignment. You know, sleep is described as something given to his beloved, to us.

It's it's not something earned or purchased It's not earned back every night through vigilance, for example. 1 Kings chapter 19, verses 5 and 6. Oh, no, 5 through 8. Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly, watch this, an angel touched him.

What's in an angel? And said to him, Arise and eat. Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake, some bread. Amen?

cake baked on coals flatbread and a jar of water so he ate and he drank and he laid back down again what did he do he ate and he slept and the angel of the lord came back the second time and he touched him and he said arise and eat because the journey is too great great for you. So, he arose, he ate and he drank, and he went in, he went in the strength. of that food, watch this, for 40 days and 40 nights as far as orb in the mountain of God. Now, yes, the food…

And the sleep was necessary. But also take note, that alone wasn't enough. That was a part of it. But the Spirit of God upon him, amen?

That, right there. is the power. In our weakness, He's our strength. Grab that.

Psalm 127, verse 2. It is vain for… for you to rise up early. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of, watch this, sorrow.

so he gives his beloved sleep god doesn't want us caught up in anxiety and not being able to sleep and i'm gonna be honest with you i've had sleepless nights i'm not even sitting here saying i'm super mad I'm fully dependent and totally in need of the Lord in every way. And so are you. I hope you see that. He doesn't want us.

He says it's vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows. In other words, to be caught up on depression and issues and all these things. Catch the next part of this. scripture for so he gives his beloved sleep we need to rest in the lord he is the one who gives us rest peace and sleep psalm chapter 4 verse 8 i will both lie down in peace and sleep for you alone oh lord make me dwell in safety maybe remember a little bit earlier i told you guys about psalm 91 amen psalm 91 and psalm 91 is powerful powerful powerful but i want to point out a few direct verses.

Psalm 91 1 and verses 5 and 6. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. shall abide under the shadow of the almighty watch this you shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness. Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noon day.

Realize something. Those things won't… touch you amen hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah All right, guys, let's, um… Let's have a time of prayer here.

Hallelujah. Father, in the name of Jesus, God, we come to you tonight. And we receive what you've already done for us, what you've already given us. Lord, we don't fight to earn it.

no Lord, where we have sinned we just confess it now family, just confess it to him If you need to pause this, pause it and confess it to him. And we receive 1 John 1.9. In Romans chapter 8 verse 1, as a settled, done fact, there is no remaining charge against us. No remaining charge against us.

None. Lord God, we refuse to retry. What you've already closed, what you've already done on the cross. Enemy, you accuser.

Your case is dismissed. We will not rehearse it again. We're covered by the blood of Jesus. We're forgiven.

by the blood of Jesus. We're washed clean by the living blood of Jesus. Where we've carried anger, unforgiveness or even agreement with fear we release it now just release it family and we choose to bless others who have hurt us, come against us, spoken against us, whatever it may be, cursed us. but choose to bless them rather than to retaliate against them and we do that in alignment with the book of Luke chapter 6 verse 28 In Jesus' name, we forgive those who have come against us.

We ask you to turn every curse, Lord, sent our way into a blessing the way you did for Israel. through Balaam the way Nehemiah declared it in chapter 13 in fact We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. None. Not because nothing will be attempted.

Not because the outcome belongs to you, the Lord. we take authority yeah we take authority over our sleep tonight over our households over our minds In the name of Jesus, according to Luke chapter 10, verse 19, and Matthew. chapter 18 verse 18 every dark thing assigned to this night we cancel it now and we do not leave the room empty we fill it with your presence God with your word with your truth with your peace with the living blood of Jesus Christ we receive your peace Lord now not later not after the war ends Think of a John chapter 16, verse 33. We stand on that in the middle of wars.

If you're in the middle of a war, if you're in the middle of a storm. Stand on John chapter 16, verse 33. And Lord, we receive rest as a gift. the way you gave it to Elijah before you gave him anything else.

We will not carry this alone. Lord, bring the right people around us. Who can speak into what we cannot see clearly. In Jesus mighty name.

Amen. Amen and amen. You know, family, Matthew, Matthew chapter 18, verse 18. it says assuredly i say to you whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven as part of your Luke chapter 11 Verses 24 -26 says that when an unclean spirit goes out of a man, leaves a man, he goes through dry places seeking rest.

and finding none. He says, I will return to my home. Watch out now. From which I came.

And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order and he goes and he takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself more strong and they enter and they dwell there and the last state of that man is worse than the first the point of that is that we can't leave the room empty it was cleaned up but we can't leave empty amen we've got to replace what we cancel what we bind and loose we've got to replace it amen we have to bring the things of the lord in and fill that room fill us With that truth. Hallelujah. you sleep name the specific open door not to something general name the specific door that's open our doors maybe even guilt that you're still Retrying over and over in your mind. Anger that you haven't released.

Isolation. you've been carrying alone close that specific one don't just don't just pray in general terms Get specific with the Lord Give them to him Release them to him And let those doors be closed Many of you here You function prophetically or apostolically, maybe seers. Listen, prophetic people, prophets, seers, apostles. get at least one real person a peer somebody that is a prophet a seer, an apostle, amen I'm not a yes person, not a yes man that's just going to tell you what you want to hear.

Get a real peer. Who can help? Hope you walk through what you bring to them. Not condemn you, not knock you down, but sit at the table with you as peers.

Don't wait for a crisis. To find that person. Find that person. Start praying today if you don't have that person.

Holy Spirit lead me to that person.
