When You Stop Striving, God Shows Up

For more information, visit www .fema .org Go to Beadaholique.com for all of your beading supply needed. well good morning family god bless you welcome in and you know i didn't change the update did a little text here so for today i've got to get on the ball with that don't i so for today i think we'll just go ahead and make this uh the date how's that sound praise god i hope you guys doing great this morning got a great message for you it's uh october the 15th glory to god we're halfway through this month today we'll just put the date up here glory to god all right so without further ado let's You can also get the app available there on the android and google and apple store so let's jump right into it though family glad you're here with me this morning good good morning to you uh welcome to richard jeremiah tv i want to share something with you this morning that is fresh because it literally happened yesterday and i woke up today with a scripture that ties it all together the scripture is psalm 46 verse 10. Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations.

I will be exalted over the earth. I kid you not, I saw this scripture multiple times yesterday, at least probably seven times. It was pretty wild. God was really communicating, so praise the Lord.

reading a devotional starting on this and that one line stopped me it said be still and it wasn't a suggestion it's a command from The God who stops wars. Stillness is not laziness. We need to really grab that these days. It is the discipline of releasing control.

and remembering who is actually in charge and it's not us amen so we've got to stop striving he is god amen we are not Let me tell you why that hit me so hard. Yesterday morning, you know, I woke up, like I said, and I'll be honest with you, I did not fully know what God was doing. I had my own thoughts in the matter, and I had my own plans for the day, but quickly did I realize that I was looking at it. the way we all do trying to figure out how to move the pieces around but god was already moving on a different plan and he began to pour out opportunity He began to pour out breakthrough.

Guys, he began to pour out a blessing I couldn't contain. And I did not arrange any of it. It was all by the direction of the Lord. Now, first, he brought a new piece of equipment for my business, Off-Grid Solar Living.

I was not expecting it. It came at an amazing deal, honestly, 50 % off. A deal that I could not have worked out on my own for sure. Then, the land…

And if you know our place, you know there were areas here where the ground was very low. We had a major need for dirt. God provided… the dirt in his time but he provided and it came at an unbelievable price a savings that was honestly exponential think about that for a moment the low No places were filled.

It's very prophetic. And I did not have to engineer it. And then something happened at the end of that day that I… didn't see coming either it brought a unity between me and a few of my neighbors that has been growing and it's been something God's been pouring into and growing, and yesterday, it took a whole other step.

God used dirt to build relationship. Isn't that just like God? He uses dirt. the practical the practical things to do the personal work and here's the part you cannot see on a camera.

Along with all of that, there's a greater peace in my home. A peace I have been feeling and loving. and enjoying for sure deeper than any deal you could say that to me is the real breakthrough hallelujah now look at where this command shows up in Psalm 46. This is a psalm about war.

It's about nations raging, kingdoms moving, the earth. shaking. And right in the middle of all that noise, God does not say, hey, work harder, no. He does not say, you know, go figure it out.

No. He says, be still. Wow. Be still.

Family, I want to tell you something. We've got to learn to rest in the Lord. We've got to learn to trust Him and to be still in Him. Glory to God.

Thank you, Jesus. So, that tells me that stillness is not what we do after the battle is over. stillness is what we do in the middle of it it's a choice to say god you and are in control and I'm not and notice the order know that I am God The knowing comes in the stillness with him. We do not strive our way into knowing him.

we stop, and we see Him. So yesterday, to me, it was really approving. time. It really proved it to me.

I was not striving to make those things happen. I woke up with my own thoughts, my own plans. And then God showed up with his plan. And his plan was much better than mine, I can assure you.

Now I want to… speak to somebody this morning maybe you are listening and you've not had your your breakthrough yet maybe the ground in your life is still low Maybe your house does not feel peaceful, or your business is being stretched way beyond comfort. Maybe it's your relationships. Maybe they're feeling divided.

I want you to hear me the goodness of God is just as true and you're waiting as if was in my yesterday. He is not less good on the days the breakthrough has not arrived. The same God who fills low ground and brings neighbors together is the same God. He's working on your situation right now.

Even if you can't see it yet, have faith. Hebrews 11, amen? Here's my word to you, be still. Release the control you were never meant to carry.

Stop striving. Remember who is actually in charge. He is God Almighty. We are not.

And the good news is this, that is exactly what makes it safe to rest in Him. That's Psalm 91, one place. Under the shadow of the Almighty, amen? And when we look at verse 11, though, it says, psalm i'm sorry verse 11 says it so well that the lord of hosts is with us the god of jacob is our our fortress.

Glory to God. The God of Jacob family is our fortress. We can trust him. we can trust him.

Praise God. Let's pray. Father God, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. we thank you for who you are we thank you for the goodness lord that you poured out yesterday on myself and probably many others and for the plan that was better than ours.

For everyone listening, I ask that you would teach us. to be still, to quiet our striving and to remind us that you are in control. And let every person watching feel your presence and your peace today, Lord. Praise the Lord.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray this morning, Lord. We thank you for this day that you've made, October the 15th, 2026. We thank you for sending your angels before us, God. And behind us.
