thank you jesus you know this morning as i was listening to a another brother on this it really began to expound in me god really began to i was speaking to me from it jesus is not describing just one request we can we can just kind of think you know okay i'll throw it out there and it's just going to be done and that's really not it amen it can be but many times it's not uh jesus is not just a one request okay he is describing us living in a lifestyle a lifestyle of pushing ship a man I always talk about part of that live in a lifestyle of prayer but catch this how we should pray. We have to. Jesus asks, which of you fathers would hand his son a stone? when he asks for bread.

If imperfect fathers know how to give good gifts, let me ask you this. How much more will your father God in heaven gift of all is the gift of the The first place that they rest is on the goodness of Father God, the Holy Spirit in the Trinity, but they rest on the goodness of the Father. not we can perform, not how well we perform. Where does faith, if you look at this guys, you're going to see in the fullness.

that faith is how the more confidently you can ask that. are you with me john chapter 5 verse 4 see no results why because they pray without staying in the word relating to the word amen it can become carnal so i'm going to say this the order does in fact matter his goodness is the foundation faith however is the doorway prayer is not a request line okay it's prayers is a conversation and sometimes the answer is delayed it's not always just bam it's still him went for long periods without hearing a word from kings do not touch my anointed one they weren't hearing from god grab that they didn't know was working on their behalf while they so many times i look at it like boat on water you're sitting in a boat you're waiting for movement you're looking around you and you're not seen a lot but water many times i equate it to this god is working under that boat he's working under the water we don't see it but he's working on our weight wait richard just wait jesus said keep knocking but he also said in matthew chapter 6 verse 7 not to babble on like the gentiles that's good family i'm glad you brought that up because both are true persistence is faithfulness where god down once you are that god has heard you rest and you can thank him instead of just repeating the same words over and over and over. Now, when we look in the Bible again, at 1 Thessalonians, in the Amplified, it says be unceasing and persistent in prayer it says keep actively watching and praying so that you do not come into grab that it's important to understand that we're not alone in this and romans chapter 8 verse 26 says that the spirit helps us actually in our weakness and praise through us for this day thank you for the ocean and the waves thank you for this and that it's important amen spirit is so important week or next year, but he does know. Amen?

He knows. Now let me give you a very simple pattern for you right now you're going to do an hour of prayer and hallelujah start start with praise you I exalt you through that who he is basically right then thank him for what he has done in your life and it's a lot can assure you. Father, I thank you for what you do in my life, what you've done, what you're going to do. Amen?

Just thank him. the Bible and meditate on the Word. Don't speed read. Don't read a chapter every 10 minutes.

Open the Bible. time and just begin to ponder and think over it and meditate on it because the bible is the written heart and mind of us then that's when we bring our request amen that's when we bring to the lord so guys It's at that point, it's when, how do I even describe this, at that point, is when we give the longest part of what we're calling this hour in a place of silence. We're going to be still. We're going to listen.

Prayer is not finished when you stop talking. It's where prayer… becomes a relationship and this is the listening part So here's, keep seeking, keep knocking, keep still long enough to hear his voice. Hallelujah.
