Test Before The Hundredfold

You good morning family hope you're doing great today it is october the 10th it's a nice beautiful morning here in houston texas and we are enjoying the crisp morning it's about 64 degrees here and just loving it so this is the day the lord has made it's a saturday guys welcome in today i want to talk to you about being tested before the hundredfold and this is an amazing message sometimes you may wonder what is going on and it's important that we expose today the realization that the test is actually what's setting you up for your hundredfold blessing so without further ado let's jump right into it family today we're going to jump into mark chapter 10 and look at basically 28 through 30, amen? Mark chapter 10, verses 28 through 30, glory to God. This, a came running to Jesus, okay? And he's asking Jesus, he says, Jesus, how do I inherit eternal life?

Jesus put a test and come. Leave your riches behind, give them away, and come follow me. Let go of these things and come follow me. Walked away from Jesus very sorrowful because he had a great…

he had his possessions he says look up everything and followed you Peter's talking to Jesus now Peter was always rather direct I love Peter's honesty. I love Peter's honesty here. He's asking the question that every one of us eventually asks, Lord? is it worth it?

Is this, and it's us, amen? Jesus doesn't rebuke him. He answers him, family Jesus is saying what? Insurance of the Lord Man Language right there family When Jesus puts that kind of weight onto his words you up front you may not understand where things are going many of us don't and won't until he reveals it but Listen, think about this, listen to the number.

Not double, not 10 times. Jesus is very, Jesus says a hundred, what that is, a hundred fold family. So what. Whatever you've laid down or released for the Lord's sake, he's not just going to pay you back one for one.

He multiplies it and not 10. not 50, 100-fold. Let that sit in your heart for just a minute. Some of you may have given up a house.

look at it like this you gave up you're gonna get houses you know a car you're gonna get cars and i'm not saying it's one item for another it's not applied back to you A hundred-fold, family. A hundred-fold. Some of you, you gave up a family. and that's not that's not easy and you get brothers sisters mothers and children you gave up maybe a farm and you get farms uh do you see what i'm saying it's not just coming back one for one the blessing is always bigger than the sacrifices And it's hard to see at the time that you're making that sacrifice, that you're giving that sacrifice.

Of course, it's hard, no doubt. It's incredibly difficult when you're making that sacrifice. to think about what's going to come back kind of similar you can go make a deposit for example now here's the thing it's not going to come back it's written in the word here And I just want to be real clear about something. God is never in debt to anyone.

Think about that. now now he says this in this present age amen he's doing this not just someday in heaven but while you're alive on this earth grab that you're alive on this earth and that is the period when he's doing this praise God think about Isaac for just a second there was a famine in the land, right? And God told him to stay put and sow. Very direct instruction.

Stay put, Isaac. Now to Isaac, it made no sense, but what did Isaac do? Isaac sowed in the land, and when we look at the Bible, The Bible says that Isaac reaped in the same year. Grab that.

Isaac reaped in the same year that he sowed 100. fold your season does not have to look good for God to make the harvest come I can assure you God is the one who controls all things grab that family it's not dependent on this that or the other God is in absolute and total control hallelujah Now, here's what I want you to see. Before the increase, the hundredfold increase, there will be a test. test before the hundred fold there is going to be a test there is a release Before the big blessing, there is almost always going to be a big challenge.

Now understand this, it's easy to fall into fear. it's easy to fall into fear but we're not to fear we're only to fear the Lord before the big blessing there always is going to be a big challenge but God is not going to leave you nor forsake you he's going to walk closely with you through those times if you didn't get to watch yesterday's message I encourage you to go back it really speaks to to God being there even when he doesn't seem like he is there and how he really fills away things that are trying to come against you and take you down. Alright, so literally, this morning I had a conversation through Messenger with a brother in the Lord, a fellow apostle and prophet, who I respect highly. and my brother shared something with me that changed the way that i see this okay he said it's like being school you sit in the class basically you learn the material and then what then comes the exam the test i don't know about you guys i never really liked but I could understand his example is not trying to destroy you, okay? The exam is how you …move up to the next grade, the next level. Amen?

We've got to realize things in this world today have been made to… Gimme, gimme, gimme, and that's not the correct… way. Let me take you to Hebrews chapter 12 real quick.

Hebrews chapter 12 takes… that picture even further. It tells us that no discipline feels good at the time Going through it, in that moment, it actually can feel painful, but afterward, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. been trained by it.

That word trained right there is the same word the Greeks used for athletes working out in the gymnasium. It's where we get our word gym from, basically. Think about that for just a moment. Walks into the gym.

and gets offended that the weights are heavy. The weight The trainer doesn't hates you. His job is to get you fit, to get you swole, in order, right? He adds it because he sees what you are becoming.

and here is the encouraging part think about person in the gym think about that the most trained person in the gym it's the person who goes through many trials right it's the person who will be well trained so going through those Many trials, it's going to make you well-trained. So many trials are not a sign that God has forgotten you. Many trials, count it all joy. when you fall into various trials many kinds of them because the testing of your faith This produces endurance, and endurance does what?

It finishes its work so that you may be complete. Bam. Lacking nothing, family. So, if you've been through a lot, and many of us have, you're not behind.

You are well… trained. And you are being made ready for the call that God has set you up to walk out. Make sense?

Hallelujah. says the Lord disciplined, amen, he deals with us as his. The word discipline there is not just, it's not just punishment. is the training and the raising of a child we are his children amen a father who does not train his son has given up on his son.

So when the pressure comes, it's not rejection. It is proof. that you are a son, and that your father, that's God, is preparing you for something great. That, guys, notice the goal.

that you survived the test for so long i can tell you oh man it's another test nobody likes tests So it's not that you survive the test is the point, but that you are well trained by the test. God wants you to come out of the season. stronger, steadier, and able to carry what he is about to give you to walk out in that new level. That's why there's multiple tests.

Amen? It means God's bringing you to new levels. It's a good thing. When the test shows up, we can tend to think something has gone completely wrong.

God, where are you? Right here, son. Watching you take this test. But in school, nobody…

nobody that i know sits down for an exam just instructed us maybe you watched a video had some discussions to pop into your head and think oh no here's me no how you've grown on what he has not taught you so don't think that guys is going to show a loop no How do I say this? He already put it into you as you learned. Many of you, when you're in that quiet place, It's speaking to you. It's releasing into you.

The quiet place. And even in the small obedience, don't do this, don't go down that. It's a small obedience, honestly, that many times… Nobody really sees for what it is.

So, basically, during an exam, the teacher is quiet. The teacher is quiet. When we look at Joseph and… the Bible.

The Bible says that until the time his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. What? The word of the Lord. He had the promise, and then he had the pit, the false accusation.

and the prison, many trials, one after another, but every one of those trials trained Joseph for the palace. He went from prisoner to palace. He went from the one that his family basically was going to kill him. They sold him off to the palace.

He went to the one that saved his family and many others during the family. Look at Abraham for a minute. Before the promise was fulfilled with Abraham through Isaac, God asked him to lay Isaac on the earth. altar can you imagine that all right son get up let's go for let's go for a hike to sacrifice him you see i believe he had such tremendous trust in that even if he would have, bring him back or restore him.

But let me tell you, God had a ram and didn't have to, but he was obedient to one of the most precious things in his life. God asked him. Abraham, I want you to lay Isaac, your son, on the altar. Hallelujah.

Abraham passed the test of surrender. under what happened he received it ever imagine or comprehend so when you're going through some of these tests it's not God angry or hateful at you Understand that, family. It's not that at all. It's time to test.

It's time to come up to a new place. Do you trust the Lord? Did you learn? He trains you so when the blessing comes, you can carry that blessing.

Without that blessing carrying you away. And if you've ever felt, he's the God of the retake. He'll bring you back to retake that test again. grace is bigger than your grades, if you will.

Do you see what I'm saying? His grace is bigger. He'll bring you back around and say, all right, son, all right, daughter, let's take this test again. that's God now notice that Jesus says it must be for his sake God's sake and not for the gospel's sake it it's not for our own ambition it's not to prove something amen it comes to life What he had you give becomes a seed.

There's the law of sowing and reaping. Amen. You sow what it feels like to… walk away from relationships.

It can be very challenging, very difficult. Walk away from relationships, to walk away from things that comfort you. Walk away from things… that are security to you because God called you.

Some of you, some of you are in the gym. if you will, right now. Some of you are now. And the weights, they feel heavy.

They feel very heavy. Some of you have been through trial after trial. Trial after trial after trial. See what I'm saying?

Hear me today. You are being well. trained and it's important that you understand that God comes and he replaces but listen now He replaces in the hundredfold. Spiritual fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters.

You know, who will stand with you where many times blood relatives would not. Jesus Christ is honest so we must be honest also Jesus says comes along with persecutions. Okay, that's true. The hundredfold and the pressure arrive together.

Persecution, family. He is the prize. So, here's your challenge this morning, or whenever you're watching this video. If you are facing a test, don't run…

out of the room don't quit the training stay at your desk whether that be your house your office your job your Or whatever it is. Stay in the gym. Ask the Lord. What are you building in me, Lord?

Is there something I am gripping that you… have asked me to release surrender it for his sake and expect the hundred fold hundred-fold family. You give him the one thing, and he gives you a hundred-fold back. Hallelujah.

We serve a faithful God, family. We serve an absolutely faithful God. Thank you, Father. Father God.

God, we just thank you for your love, your mercy, your grace, Lord, your faithfulness. God, who's been through many trials, I thank you that… they're trained, Lord God. We all are.

Lord, I ask you to remind them of everything you have taught them and give them strength to endure. Lord, let this season yield the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Father God, we declare, we declare that what was sown in sacrifice, We'll come back in 100-fold return as your word promises. Lord, I ask you to restore, to multiply, and surround each other.

with true family. Lord, give each person courage, Lord God, in this time of persecution that they may be in. Enjoy, Lord God, in the… Promise.
